We have today received this e-mail:
A House of Lords Committee set up especially to look at the Equality Act 2010 and its impact on disabled people has put out a call for or written evidence and invites all interested parties to submit evidence by 4 September 2015.

This is a public call for evidence.
The Committee was set up to look at the provisions and implementation of the Equality Act 2010 in relation to how it serves disabled people. The Act was intended to harmonise discrimination law and strengthen the law to support progress on equality. The Committee will ask how effective this legislation is.
